Nadine & Cory. [married]

posted 01.14.2011 under weddings

You know the old saying ‘We’ve saved the best for last’? That saying wraps my 2010 wedding season up perfectly. Nadine and Corys wedding was my last in 2010. It was a big deal for many reasons, first of which is that I met Cory in the 8th grade. We went on to  high school where we met Nadine in the 10th grade. Shooting their wedding was the biggest honour, and so much fun! Nadine was the perfect bride, not only did she pay close attention to detail but she was laid back about everything.

Christian Louboutin has never done wrong by me.

Cutest kids ever.

The boys were quite dashing also. Special thanks to my second shooter Kendra from Urban Edge!

Hands down the cutest ring bearer I have ever seen. Not to mention a purple bow tie and vest?! Awesome!

The lace around her bouquet was from her Nona, soo sweet.

An beautiful Mother Daughter moment.

One of my favourite photos.

Nadine is stunning, and her wedding ensemble was equally beautiful.

Prettiest garder I’ve ever seen!

I loved every single detail of their wedding.

This day was anything but warm. The bridal party knew how much photos meant to Nadine and Cory, so every time someone was cold they would say how warm they were! Haha, talk about dedication!

The stunning bridesmaids.

The boys clean up pretty nicely!

These four have been friends forever. I’m happy to have known them for as long as I have.

Nadine and her adorable younger brother Justin.

In leu of a tradition guestbook they had old typewriters set out, so that people could type them a personal letter instead. Beside were vintage suitcases for people to place them after they’re done! Genius!

Anyone who knows me, knows I have a sweet tooth like you wouldn’t believe.. so I had to take some photos of the amazing candy bar.

The reception was so beautifully decorated. So romantic!

Nadines Mom made their wedding cake.. yep, she made it. 3 tiers of pure beauty.

Not only was the reception beautiful, but the MC’s and speeches were the best I’ve head. I’ve never laughed so hard shooting a wedding..

That would be ‘Nick Carter’ serenading Nadine on the dance floor. Part of Christina and Nanditas amazing speech.

Congratulations Cory & Nadine. Thank you SO much for having me be a part of your big day, and thank you for loving weddings as much as I do!

xo.

Thank Blog It’s Friday! [11]

posted 01.7.2011 under personal

I’m sending a belated HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! I hope everyone has been enjoying good food, and of course good company. I cannot believe it’s 2011, time flies! I have alot of fun contests up my sleeve this year, and a bunch of beautiful blog posts coming your way.

Since it’s a new year, I figured not only will I post what I’m grateful for in 2010, but my goals for 2011!

What I’m most grateful for in 2010!

- I’m grateful for my new room, sounds a little lame but I have put lots of thought into it, and it’s perfectly me. Homesense, Urban Outfitters and Ikea did me proud.

- My incredible group of guy friends. They’re always there for me, and make me laugh even when I’m sad. I can’t imagine 2011 without them. And of course I’m grateful for Laryssa and Jordan. They’re probably two of my favourite girlfriends, and I love them.

- My family, of course!

- Glee. Yep, I said it. I LOVE Glee. In high school, I may or may have not been in show choir so Glee is near and dear to my heart. I recently purchased the Rollingstones Glee poster and am framing it and putting it on my wall. Shocking that I’m single right?! Hahaha.

- And probably the biggest one of 2010, my dog Frankenstein. She has turned me into one of those people who show strangers pictures of their dog. Yep, I’m one of them. She is the most loving dog in the world, and gets called an assortment of nicknames.. Frank (with or without a german accent), Frankie, Franklin, Frankfurt, Frank and beans, and lastly just beans.

Since I’m a proud Momma, here’s a few pictures.

Not only was Franks head way too small for her antlers.. but she HATED them.

I think I embarrassed her…

A couple doggie treats later, and the antler incident was long forgotten.

2011 is all about bettering myself and my company. We recently purchased the greatest thing in the world (okay, maybe not the world but it’s pretty sweet!). Kinect. I am in love with it. My best friend and brother Alex and I have been dominating Dance Central, and with that being said.. that’s my personal goal for the year. To have fun getting into shape playing Kinect. Nothing crazy, and unattainable.. just fun!

My other goal is to blog more, infact I will have another blog for you by the end of the weekend. So hang tight, leave a comment and have an awesome weekend!
